Thanks.

Thanks.Looks good!
does anyone reckon mouse steer will be possible in the full game? keyboard is never accurate enough and i don't want to have to get a steering wheel. if not i guess it'll have to be a 360 controller?
I must be really crap, cause I can't drift to save my life! I got 20k thought that was an achievement other guy got 740k![]()

Indeed but I find it virtually impossible to do! It keeps spinning out!You gotta keep the drift as continual as possible so the multiplier (?) climbs higher and higher, thus giving you a higher score.
Judging by the demo, the drifting is unrealistic and still has the 'canned' spin which previous TOCA games had. NFS Carbon's drift mode has the right balance between arcade drifting and proper drift realism.

Aye, i found drifting the hardest gametype in the demo, but, once you work out he lines to skim the posts, and seamlessly blend 1 drift corner into the next, feathering the throttle and brake your scores rocket.
Atm i think my best for the demo drift track is ~2mill, and about 1.1mill of that came from a single combo.
I have just been playing the demo of GRID and I thought it was pretty damn good, although using a keyboard to race wasn't exactly easy and I plan to get a 360 gamepad if and when I buy the game. I was suprised that it ran pretty well on medium settings on this current PC (Athlon X64 3200+, 2GB DDR Ram, HD3850 256MB) but I am upgrading my PC soon to a C2D E2200 2.20GHz, 2GB DDR2 Ram and sticking with this graphics card as I only bought it recently. How well will the game run on my new computer? As I did experience some framerate drops on medium when in races with all the cars around and stuff...
i run on amd 5000+ BE oc'ed to 3.2 ghz 4gb ddr2 ram and 3850 256 mb on 1024x768 all setings on ultra and aa on 4 runs wellno frame drops card is not oc'ed
