If theres no age restrictions: Brocchi would be worth a look.
See if you can get Gourcuff on loan.
Dessena is a good DM, young, lots of potential.
Marchisio if you can get him for £8m would be stunning and if you could keep hold of him, will either turn you a tidy profit or be the center piece of your team.
Nocererno as well.

Quite handy me knowing the Italian league quite well, as an English team, you'll be able to get them far cheaper...i think.:p.

Anyone got some thoughts on this:
Pirlo is 30 at the moment in my game, by the end of this season he'll be 31. So by 32-33 i'll have to look for a replacement.
A certain Giovinco has been made available for £20m.
Replace Pirlo early?

Can you not afford to get both? I would. Keep Pirlo until he's too old and let Giovinco share the place in the team. :)

So I will be using one up front striker which will rotate between Rooney/Tevez/Huntelaar I think. Haven't sold anyone yet but planning on selling Fletcher if I can get a bid of £5m+ now I have Zapater. Looking on getting Eduardo from Bogafoto so if he signs Silvestre is out. :) Neville in the reserves as he's injured long term. Might try and sell Manucho for about £3-4m seeing as there is only one striker position and Manucho is nowhere near as good as Huntelaar. :p

Got Barzagli as I was making offers for players left, right and centre and then planning to choose who to sign based on who wanted to sign first. Well I've almost got all the players I want and can realistically afford. Might be getting Luiz Jimenez as well. :p

I dont like having more than 2 players per position, makes rotation harder to do. :(.
I could probably get a good £10m for Pirlo tbh.
The other option is to sign Giovinco, then loan him out?

Bolton have made an offer worth up to £6,500,000 for Arsenal's Mamadou Sahko.

Chairman Peter Hill-Wood felt this offer was too good to refuse and has decided to take matters into his own hands by accepting this bid etc etc etc.

just reading about the defoe bug. iv started a game with a friend, hes pompey, im villa. how can i fix this bug from within the a few months of the game?

You could offer Sakho a new contract that is better than what he's on now and hope he's loyal. :)

Have you both got the latest 8.0.2 patch?

There is also a fix that involves going into the editor and changing some stuff around but the easiest way is to make sure you have the latest 8.0.2 patch. :)

pirlo is a legend, honor him and keep him until he dies, or asks for a testimonial.

signing and loaning sounds a good idea.
 
I have 8.0.2 118048 (m.e v665). This should be the latest build of 8.0.2 that fixes the clauses. In FM go to Options>Game Status and then in the game information section look at the game version. :)

Other wise go into the editor, go to Clubs and search for Portsmouth. Then go to the finances bit I think and where it lists Defoe it will say "each game" or something which is the problem as Pompey have to pay £5m each game Defoe plays. Change it to after 50 games. Then save the db and make a new game.

Thanks for the tips, Juventus want 13m + 30% of next sale for Marchisio :/ Everyone seems to be money hungry hoes in this game apart from when they offer for my players LOL.

Currently trying to negotiate with Celtic for Nakamura with a p/e of Leroy Lita + 1/2m
 
Well, the Hyde game is still going :p Had a lengthy lay off but have since got back into it and have just won the 2030 Premiership, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup. What a hero :p
 
Arsenal bidding £22m for my GK, Real Madrid £22.5m for my young striker! Some hot properties in my team! Got the next Steven Gerrard, the next Glenn Hoddle and the next Marco Materazzi :D
