£10m for Tevez is an absolute bargain (even if that doesnt inclube the £5m Utd still owe for next season - £20m in total for such a hard worker and pretty decent scorer is peanuts these days , article does suggest that £10m can be paid at any time during the two years to make the initial loan permanent, so Im sure that will happen when Gill is back from hols next week
(although that also means any new transfers will also take some time)
Obviously that doesnt include any wages but even so
Admitedly the article may not be genuine/accurate but £15 - £20m was the rumoured price originally
Papers shouldn't be allowed to print rubbish like that and claim it as fact.
How would anyone at the Daily Star know what RA has said to PS about any signings or what his plans are![]()
Regarding Nasri..
(From his official site)
"We are sorry to have acted précipitement by announcing that Samir had signed with Arsenal, but samir is still under contract with Olympique de Marseille so far."
Heh.
Didin't you pay 10 mill in the first place. So 20 mil overall for him.
I think the mistake we made (and by 'we' I mean McClaren + staff) was not realising how strong they actually were. We still should have qualified, but if the job was done properly then it would have been clear how vital the games against the clearly weaker teams were.A few people were blaming the dutch's loss due to not having a good ball distibuter, saying ENgalaar was rubbish. I can't beleive it! I thought he was brilliant. Anyway the entire russian team have impressed me and theres no embarassment for England now people have realised the teams who knocked us out are ones to watch in the future!
Palyuchenko or whatevers hes called has also been quite good in strike.
Im sure the Nasri deal will be completed by the morning - is strange how it happened though
