I think they have to underclock both GPU and MEM speeds when they build am X2 style card, probably something to do with everything being squashed together and getting extra hot!
Two separate cards run a bit cooler and most likely have faster GPU/Mem speeds.

Intel's new Nehalem CPUs are going to be using a different socket, I think they're using socket 1366, and are due out early 2009.![]()
