Exactly, as I said to you before who would want rooney for anything like £30million if he was put up for sale?
If he doesn't up his game next year Manu should sell him for whatever they can get. I notice since his arrival at Manu no foreign clubs or even Premiership clubs have tried ti unsettle him as they have ronaldo by mentioning him in the press.
No one even expresses an interest. Washed up by the time he's 25.

I've heard that Ramos had been granted permission to talk to Podolski once E2008 concludes. However, I wonder if the player actually knows this.

He does indeed. He was quoted as being flattered in the interest from Spurs.
Why would a player who's at one of the biggest teams in the world be flattered by Spurs' interest

On the contrary, why wouldn't he be?
Because he currently plays for a team who won their domestic league and are in the Champions League next season whereas Spurs finished 11th and are only in the UEFA Cup next season.

All quotes I have read from Fergie before the Euros was that there "are a couple of places in the team I want to strengthen" (and obviously this cant even include Ronaldo due to the timing) - have you seen something more recent?
Worst case scenario would be a striker and LB support for Evra, and If/When ronaldo leaves a winger (with Ramos and cash coming in the opposite direction)
Why is everyone so bothered by a couple of fags for god sake? You think thats worse than the copious amounts of alcohol undoubtedly drunk on the stag night /wedding? Sure if it was five a day or more then sure, personally not sure why it should be such a bad thing
People get on Rooney's back even though he is probably one of the hardest working strikers in the EPL - I would be the first to say he has to be a bit more selfish, but he gives so much to the team in other areas that his goal scoring at the moment doesnt matter so much.
To me the stat that reveals we lose more games when Rooney doesnt play than when he does proves his importance to Utd more than anything else

Regardless of whether you keep Ronaldo or not I think the main issue is chelsea will bring in some pretty big hitters this year and even though they had a pretty poor season they still got close in the end.
I think Manu's best chance next year is that whoever chelsea buy dont settle because you cannot out spend them and dont have a manager like wenger to get the best out of what you have.

However even Fergie then says "one or two thing" or " a couple of developements" - so I dont think its clear cut being one at all

Chelsea will always be a threat but with a new couch with new tactics plus numerous big names possibly leaving (to Milan if nowhere else) it will take time to settle, not only that but didnt one of the major trainers also leave?
They will be a threat none the less but I also think it will take time to get everything together
