How often do you shave?

Electric or blades?

I've got a cheapo electric shaver than I use every morning because it's quicker and easier. Means I have to shave every day though as it doesn't really get closer enough.

Tempted to buy a better electric shaver, some of them are stupidly expensive!

every morning
electric, as it irritates my teenage skin less; not as close a shave mind =(

every couple of days i use an electric shaver, but then i dont really shave it all off.
I have it trimmed down so a sort of stubble/beard look sounds crazy but i look silly with no facial hair :p

every week, i simply cba.

i look like tom hanks in castaway towards the end of every week, starting to get use to it, seems this stubble look is 'in' :p

Usually every few days, although I'm sporting a fashionable beard at the moment. Shaving has been a real treat since I discovered Merkur.

Merkur + Treet Platinum or 7 am Platimun + Badger brush + Sandal wood soap = W1N

Andy

EDIT: ATM im a lazy once a week man :D

What's so good about this Merkur thing?

DE safety blades are where it’s at.

The idea of the new razors is to have as many blades as possible and actually rip the hair out of your skin.

With DE's you’re effectively going for beard reduction with each pass rather than take it all off in one go. Takes a little longer but you’ll get a much closer shave, and for the people who get skin irritation, you might find you no longer have that problem with a DE safety blade.

A badger brush plus some decent cream/soap can also give you vast improvements over applying that crap gell with your hands.

http://badgerandblade.com/ is a great site for more info

I use an Edwin Jagger Razor and brush with a selection of Trufitt & Hill shaving creams, mmmm lovely. It really has put the fun back into shaving.

I only shave once a week but I proably spend close to an hour preparing/shaving and showering, really making a big thing about. You feel class afterwards.

I really think shaving is one of those things where technology etc has actually had a negative effect on on shaving.
