Eventually getting round to looking into a DE safety razor but there are so many? I dont want to spend a fortune but dont want to get one that is too light as someone mentioned further up the thread.

Looking here at them but what do people use?

Also, someone recommended using Proraso shaving soap? Any good?

Edit, what are slant safety razors? Says its better for people with sensitive skin?

Philishave, electric razor thingy, about once every couple of days.

I use it, so it was probably me who recommended it. If I did, then I still recommend it.

I also use a Merkur Futur

If you want a heavy Merkur I recommend the Merkur 34, also known as the "Heavy Duty". It's the one I use and whilst the handle is quite short (which I like), it is weighted very well.

The Merkur Vision is a waste of money.
