So I would just like to thank all the idiotic people who pirated this as it obviously decreases the chances of Resident Evil5 ever reaching the PC or Capcom continuing their support.
Why they did not put the same (uncracked so far) DRM on it as Alone in The Dark is a mystery....
Is Piracey the latest excuse for everything?
OMG ive got a headache! Must be them Pirates!
Pirates would have not bought the game in the first place, I'd think them idiots would have realized this by now. They download every single game on the site that's popular they can find to try it out, they would never buy so many retail games...http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_cap...Capcom_pleased_with_DMC4s_PC_sales&post_num=2

No, he's talking rubbish, he's blaming the poor sales on pirates, that would never buy it in the first place, and probably just tried it out for half an hour then never touched it again...geez , is there any real need for some of the responses to the OP's post ? he called what pirates do as idiotic and receives stick for it ? he has a valid point about stealing software and the consequences and gets vilified for it :sigh:
Nothing does ( unless their hdd's are fullop said:Yet it still did not stop pirates from downloading it.

Pirates try most games they see available for download, even if they've never heard of it...
Not generalizing, observations on myself and everyone I know.Nothing but generalising, blanket statements. I want my 30 seconds back from reading your posts.
Not generalizing, observations on myself and everyone I know.
Well, that's you isn't it. Let me say something here...
I download pirate games now and again, but in the last 12 months I've bought more games than I know what to do with and I haven't even completed most of them. I even bought Mass Effect for the PC despite owning it on the Xbox 360 already, and more games are out soon that I fully intend to buy (Spore and Fallout 3 in particular).
I used to download music before Last.fm started doing massive amounts of long previews, now I don't. I put four albums on order just yesterday and two are over £10 in value, one of which is an import from Europe.
I download movies quite often, yet I still have over 40 DVDs in this room alone and that's not including the ones I have downstairs, and that's also not splitting up box sets. I have more DVDs than I have room for.
I downloaded The Dark Knight before it came out in the UK, I am going to see the film at Odeon with a mate soon.
So now you know, there's one pirate out there who's honest and not just out for a free ride. I wouldn't be afraid to bet there's many pirates like me, and I don't appreciate you calling me a cheapskate just because you're one.
Thanks.
I never used the word cheapskate ? So stop talking rubbish ( I am not calling you a cheapskate) , I just said most pirates download everything they can find, later added that that's based on my own observations, obviously you can disagree because most people I know are the same age as me, think similar to me, have more or less the same tastes, etc...
You can't say you're honest if you download games, sorry but you aren't, even if you buy them after...
What makes you say I don't buy games ? I never said I didn't... You've just done the exact same thing you accused me off, generalizing...
Can we not get the pirates Union in here to clear this up?
