All New Summer 2008 Transfer Merry Go Round/Rumour Mill

I've got my doubts about any 'wow!' signing anyway, I swear Ashley said something along those lines last January or maybe last summer.

I'd be happy with another Jonas/Colocinni standard player rather than an aging superstar. I reckon we'll sign two players before the end of the window, would've been three but it looks like Shola is staying now, unfortunately.

If you think Keane is better than Berbatov then you're clearly wrong. Berbatov contributes so much more to the team and still scores just as many goals. Keane is a very good player but don't forget that he only rose above Defoe in the Spurs pecking order when he struck up his partnership with Berbatov. Without Berbatov alongside him, Keane isn't half the player. Just ask any Ireland fan about his form over the past couple of years.

After watching the Sunderland game, it's obvious that a moody Berbatov is still better suited to Ramos' tactics than a happy Bent. It'll be great news for Spurs if he stays.
 
We dont need any WOW players... The signings so far have been good so keep them coming like that..

Apparently we have a few more players coming in.... I dont see how seen as its a week til the end of the transfer window... Hope they arent big money panic buys.
 
We need a creative midfielder.

LB, RB and possibly another Striker or CB

I cant see us getting another striker otherwise we will be paying something ridiculous.. They are so expensive for dross. I really wanted us to buy Ashton but no chance of that happening now

Talk of Andreasen going to HSV for £3.4m, but not sure if i trust the source.

Think Fulham need a left winger (as Seol is only one now), DM and maybe a DC cover (which could be where Andreasen ends up).

Kallio looks like he'll give good competition for Konch in left back, he was class.

Gotta love his honesty. Chimbonda has already crossed him once and he only joined a matter of weeks ago. Demoted from the team and bench for the Spurs game at the weekend for not being punctual.

Thats what makes me think he'll be a good manager, he is zero tolerance like Clough.
