King will only play like one game in every 4-5 anyway. I hate to say it as a Tottenham supporter but we need someone as good as him to replace him as he is way to injury prone.

It's looking more and more likely this "mystery" striker is just Berbatov with a smiley face on. It's the only way he could fool somebody, by taking that big sulk off his chops.

Obviously Spurs, if I was a striker I would love to play and improve my skills everyday by training with the best defender in the world.

I would say style of play-wise, Alves is just like Torres. Full of running and collecting in the channels. Alves just seems more of a predator and Torres is faster.

Wasn't Kaka made up to get the opportunity to play with Ronaldinho when he arrived. He also was quoted as saying Scheva convinced him to extend his Milan contract back in March. Why would he now be disgruntled by these two?

The only thing I can imagine as a possibility is that Milan may have accepted a large bid as part of the return deal for Sheva. That would just leave Chelsea to agree personal terms with the superstar.

I suspect he is talking about the style as he says rather than the actual end product, this is also discounting that there may be a slight disparity in the quality of players and service that Alves has to work with compared to Torres.
