Everton have completed the signing of Louis Saha.

The Frenchman joins the Toffees from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee after the two clubs agreed a deal last week.

Saha successfully underwent a medical at the weekend and officially became an Everton player on Monday.

He boasts an impressive goalscoring record in the Premier League and joins on a two-year deal with the option for a third year.

He will join former Man Utd teammates Phil Neville and Tim Howard at Goodison Park.

Saha will wear the number 9 shirt this season.

it would be a mistake for city to sign berbatov...if he does sign it would be not because he wants to, but because nobody else wanted him

he's already a miserable whinger so thats going to set him off from day one...he will just whinge on till he ends up getting another move


his mistke was declaring that he only wanted to go to one particular club..if he signs for anybody else he ends up looking like a mug

if united really though he was worth it and they really wanted him...they would have already signed him

he is stuck now...he has burned his bridges at spurs and united dont want him...he will be ofrced to go somewhere that by his own admission is not a club of his own choosing
 
I am going to utterly distraught if Man City get Berbatov... I mean really, unbelievable if that happens.

His attitude stinks but when he's on form and kept happy he's a fantastic talent and would really do well for us... if we let this slip simply because Fergie or the board are too stubborn to stump up an extra few million quid which we'll get back easily... Jeez :(

George McCartney asked for the move as his time at West Ham he has found it hard to settle in to life in London, hence him wanting to go back to Sunderland.

West Ham was only willing to sell if they got a replacement, which seems to be Paolo Ferrera.

It's clear that we want him, Fergie has chased him for 2 seasons now... the price is too high apparently :-/

Knowing Fergie he'll be so stubborn on this Berbatov business that we'll sign him in 2 or 3 years time when we don't really need him. Just like we did with Hargreaves.

If it is over only a couple of million that he doesnt arrive, someone has seriously lost the plot (AND not been watching the last few games)

Personally think we DID REALLY need Hargreaves last season, I doubt we would have won either the Premiership or the CL without him

The Saha deal is done though, surely that would bring the cash in.

It's more becoming a matter of principle than anything else now.

We're supposed to be one of the biggest, and richest clubs in the world... yet we can't afford to increase our bid to close to £30m.

Saha gone must mean we can increase our bid... If we don't sign someone and we miss out on Berba... ARGH :mad:
