Is it me or does that seem quite slow?

Hi there

There is a proper word for this but when your watchin the speedo or counting in your head it always seem so much quicker than it actually is.

For example 30-70mph in the Mustang seems to literally take 1s, however on a racelogic performance meter its 2.9s, on datalogging it shows 2.75s.

60-100mph in the Mustang takes about 2s, but again get this on the racelogic performance meter my best so far is 4.4s and I would imagine a 70-100mph run in the Mustang would be looking at circa 3s flat.

Doubt it. The novelty wears off a little bit more each time you put £50 of petrol into it.

For a while, yea. Then once you got used to it, your perception of normal performance adjusts and the 'omgwow' factor of it diminishes a tad as does your desire to spend every waking moment driving it.

There was a new M3 in the works car park on Friday. Was it just the works dark car park or does the M3 have the most elaborate metal folding roof ever. Looked like a transformer with all the bits moving around.
