The "IVE JUST WATCHED" movies thread.

To Kill a Mockingbird. Was very good and nothing like i expected it to be. Thought it was a bit long and drawn out in parts, but apart from that it was very good.

Watched Good Will Hunting earlier today, brilliant film, hadn't seen it for a while. Reminds me i want to re-watch Rounders too!

Sahara.

Naaa, African Warzone, Ship of Death!!! <thumbs up>

Highly entertaining film, 8 out of 10.

Cloverfield.

Hugely dissapointing. The camera work got annoying and the ending made the whole thing seem like a wasted 90 minutes. The characters where irritiating.

Street Kings. Turned it off after 30 minutes, does it get any better or is the acting cardboard all the way through?
Couldn't tell ya. I only made it 10 minutes.

The Mummy : Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Thanks for the write-up. I was wondering if they were attempting to replace Rachel as Evelyn, or if they'd just introduce the new chick as her sister or something. I'm a huge Mummy fan and I probably won't watch this now that I know that information.

Scorpion King 2 - might have been slightly entertaining if they didn't try to incorporate it with the first movie. There was almost no similarity in either the characters or the storyline of the first. "Monkey King" would have been a more appropriate title.

Be Kind Rewind - poor.
When you're working a 12-hour long night shift and there's absolutely no work to do and you're bored like mad and this movie is sitting there free and available to be played, you'll still turn it off after 10 minutes. :(

My last movie: Up The Creek (1984). I can't believe I've not heard of this movie before. It had two of the main actors from Animal House, and also Pee-Wee from Porky's. It had the same feel as both movies, as well as clever comedy and hot chicks. :D

The Kingdom, it's awesome 8/10
Jerry Mcguire, I know people don't like Tom Cruise too much, but I thought this movie was great, and he was good in it too. 7/10

The X-Files I want to believe .......2/10 total garbage,
The first X-files film was great but this is really bad,,,avoid if you can!!!

Green Mile 10/10 - yesterday, absolutely amazing, 'nuff said

Step Brothers 7/10 today - Typical Farrell film, but very funny in parts

[REC]
Crappy spanish film - Filmed in the style of Blair Witch/Cloverfield etc.. Honestly these sort of movies should come with some sort of warning.

Diary of the Dead
Crappy American film - Filmed in the style of Blair Witch/Cloverfield etc.. Honestly these sort of movies should come with some sort of warning.

Can't believe I managed to grab two of these bleeding hand held camera movies on the same night (I knew about Diary and thought I'd give it a chance...didn't finish watching it). [REC] got a little tense near the end, it's not something I'd want to sit through again though. Being remade as Quarentine.

Doomsday Garbage Sci Fi. This one got turned off too right near the end. Mad Max 2 did the climatic race/battle so much better and how old is that?

Watched - In Bruges.

I actually quite liked it, was drawn out in some areas.. but some nice twists.

Colin Farell's acting was good all the way through.
