Condition of the thread - everyone must read the 6 page article and not just post the usual "sample of 1 person" statistics and supposed facts. That's been done to death.

Its nothing short of media hype, MS are in for the long run, ok they have had a massive loss with the 360 but the games they are pumping out is superb, there is no way the next MS console can be as bad as the launch of the xbox was and the hardware failure as the 360, third time lucky

You have to spend money to make money, its no different than Sony Corp being in massive debt but nobody brings that up when they go on about the PS3, let the games do the talking....simple as.

I can only assume you do, with this statement.

What Sony or MS make/lose in terms of finances is irrelivant to us the consumers, all we want is decent hardware. Let the games do the talking is absolutely right, but if you want to dish out praise then aim it at the developers not MS, as primarily there role is to supply us with the required hardware to play those games....

Out of curiosity, have MS actually developed any games at all for the 360? From what i can tell they rely solely on 3rd party developers.

They usually just publish first-party or third-party titles. Not sure they have actually 'made' any games themselves.

I think if anything i will wait a bit longer before purchasing their next console.

the after service is awful, their warranty isnt good enough and their hardware isnt good enough.

Shame on them cos the console imo is brilliant apart from that
