Who wont be playing Warhead

crysis is more for people who want to flash their e-dicks

my gtx280 tri-sli gets 120FPS with all settings on max!

oh yeah! well my radeon 4870x2 crossfire gets 130FPS all on max!

hehehe...

I kind of agree tbh.

The gameplay is just not worked out really well...

My biggest problem I have with the new games is the level design which graphically looks awesome and makes beautiful screenshots but all the jungle and ice locations just look the same.
That's weird, because I thought each jungle location looked different and had a different feel. Some were more sandy than others, some had different types of trees and vegetation whilst excluding vegetation found in other areas, etc.

Didnt know Jason Ocampo moved from ign gamespot to ign.

According to him it runs better and looks better, think i'll snag it. Should have been today i was snagging it but

90% of the people on this thread who have said they won't be playing it DEFINITELY WILL BE PLAYING IT now that the IGN review it out.

Thanks.

Don't get me wrong, I love Crysis and I know Warhead will be brilliant, but even with my existing setup, the obsessive in me will go nuts over graphical configs and the like. With my time on Crysis, about 70% of the time was spent under the hood of the game. I just don't want to go through the hassle of finding something I'm satisfied with only to find a flaw or an even better config off somebody that surprise surprise, doesn't work too great with my system.

I loved Crysis - I thought the gameplay was great, there were so many way to tackle a situation or take someone out. Granted it did run slow with a 8800 320MB and 24" widescreen!

According to the IGN review I just watched Warhead has even better gameplay, graphics, and runs faster too. Also I have a 4870 now so this is going to be a very immersive game for me!

Can't wait for it personally. :)

Because it's a tough gaming benchmark. Also crysis is the only game i've come across where you need to tweak the game and compare framerates with others to see how your pc is running.

Also saying something like that on an overclocking website, come on?? What you expect??

You go to a car forum and you see members saying "yeah i got 500bhp at the wheels, 10 sec 1/4 mile, and i did the ring in 7mins45sec. It's what you expect on a FORUM. The ones that moan about the braggers are ususally the secretly envious ones lol

lol know whats amusing me, why theres a thread on who 'wont' be playing warhead, if your not playing it then STFU and get on with life, why waste time making a thread about it?

Thats what i was thinking

You have no idea if Warhead will run "fine" or not considering that you have not played it yet. IGN have, and apparently it runs better than the original.

Turn some settings down..? No one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to run 72300x34002 with 900xAA and 700xAF on ultra maximum extreme for the win settings. Just suck it up, play on medium and have some fun!

Exactly thats my point - that is not what I call different or distinctive.

next friday?!! WOW!! So I need to buy GTX280 soon.. wanted to wait for 55nm version but I wont if that will come out next year...

The last 3 levels of Crysis were boring and tedious, but I enjoyed the rest of it so I'll keep an eye on Warhead and see what people make of it.
