Crysis Warhead - Gone Gold

i'm in the submarine docks at the mo and the skips dont move! i'm not goin to be any help on this yet. i'll make it my mission though to try it with every skip i see! i'll keep you posted... haha!

...failing that i'll get a real skip and throw it in the river by my house and see what happens! (may need a real nano suit to lift it tho!!):D

*** edit***

Sorry KNiVES just thought! did you mean test it for real anyway?

The density of the cross section including air would be less then water so seems likely.

My old next door neighbour made a boat from concrete, it also floated

After rushing through this game I am replaying it on delta and using a much more stealthier approach. Instead of running in gung-ho I'm sitting back, surveying the area, picking off enemies one by one and shooting fuel tanks with my silenced mp5 with scope. I wasn't that impressed after my first playthro but when u max the difficulty and try and make full use of the environment the game really comes to life! Shame about the ice levels though... only one way to play those :|

Way it should be played!

After reading a couple of comments on here about the AI scaling well with the difficulty, I absolutely IMPLORE everyone who hasn't played Crysis on Delta to go and do it now. It really is a whole new game. Usually the highest difficulty is reserved for those with 400000dpi mice and fighter pilot reflexes, but played well, you can get through it with simple skill and cunning (And a lot of evaluating areas before entering)

Makes pulling off those snap-silent-headshots even more satisfying too.

got the same problem... :/ just it crashes on every level sometimes it works sometimes no

tried it again later, managed to load the level using mainstream graphics settings and turning most the settings back to gamer once I was in the level for a while.

I've done it on the normal mode a few times now, but i'm gonna givew it a go on delta tonight when i get in. not looking forward the the train though!! That will be so hard!!

I am going to give the harder settings a go even though I am worried that I may struggle with the set piece defend the position type scenarios. My frame rate does choke at these points but the game looks so lovely that I can't bring myself to lower the settings.

I did not care much for Crysis so it is odd that I love Warhead and the only criticisms is that it is not longer.

I dont die but it does effect my health, i get damage on all 4 corners showing on my crosshairs, always wondered what the hell it was!

Basically just a physics bug, i've been 'crushed' by a falling pebble before, most often just after coming out of the alien ship in the original crysis going down the icy slope, there is a small rockfall, and the number of times i've been insto-killed by a sliding bit of gravel is maddening. :D
