does it fit in the slip case with the 9 cell battery?

If you put it in battery end first, then it will fit, and you can still close the lid of the case, but its a fairly tight fit.

If you're looking for something to keep it stored in properly when moving about then a bag's probably the best bet.

sometimes they do deliver earlier than the ETA, it wouldn't surprise me if you get it before. I'll let you know when mine arrives.

well i won't be able to play with it until the 12th as i'm not in the country at the moment (just ordered it online for when i get back).

Picked up a XPS M1530 in the dell outlet for £549 inc VAT and delivered.

Red XPS M1530 with 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 3 GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 8x DVD-RW, 9-cell battery, 1440x990 WGXA+ screen with Truelife, Nvidia 8600 GT 256mb graphics card, Biometric Fingerprint reader, Dell Travel Remote, Wireless-N card, Dell 355 Bluetooth and Vista Home Premium.

I was a bit worried when I rang the outlet I got put through to the Indian call centre, and they had no record of my order. Ive read the outlet is way behind on processing orders so mine should be confirmed soon, hopefully, I would nt want to miss out on this.

My friend is thinking of ordering the £749 gaming version, how well would it run games such as gears of war, call of duty 4 and crysis?

Anyone know?

T9300/8600GT plays crysis and stalker fine. I havent tried on the highest settings but it looks pretty good and runs fine on the ones the games default to.

are there any new xps laptops planned for the future not so much new designs just new gpu tech really wish the 1530 had a 9800 chip in it
