Theres a very decent set of green tanking armour for the expansion, its dirt cheap to make and is designed for level 70's.

Well that went down a storm with the guildies and the guild were joined with, told them i wasnt going tank..and ive now been kicked...just great, what sort of game is this...we have 3 classes and i cant use 2..ive had it.
Edit/ I dont understand why warriors have 3 classes, because if you dont use prot, you cant do anything in the game at all..nobody wants to know if your not a 'Tank'...its really annoying.

I can understand why that annoys people, some n00b Lock (not specifically aimed at you) sacrificing a pet to boost his damage meters at the cost of the group having lower health overall.
Honestly, if you don't put the effort into your character and the gear then the game isn't for you, or well don't moan about it at least. I like the game the way it is now, it doesn't need any further dumbing down... (again not aimed at you)
In all fairness unless you have capable DPS gear then I don't see any harshness on their side, that's if they made it clear you was joining as a tank.
Can't really blame people, I'm not interested in bringing Warriors in my groups unless they are tanking (though I play one and love Prot myself) but still, Warriors don't bring much to the group when not tanking.
Guess I'm a "douche" too then
. Don't see the immature part really, as I said above unless tanking Warriors don't bring as much utility to a group as other DPS classes.

You can tank pretty much anything pre Kara as arms, no need to force the guy to play prot. And besides mortal strike is probably the most useful ability out there for anything that heals.
killed KJ tonight was pro fight
we just got a sponsorship deal for wrath, getting paid for wow is pro
gz, did this last week, cant really say it was a pro fight as its nerfed to the ground, but gratz anyway
i know been nerfed a lot but guild had him on farm for a long time (pre patch) and ive had 4 month break so good to come back and see him before before wrath, was dissapointed with muru fight but proberly felt more epic pre nerf tho! + that kill was done with 5 randoms that so just shows how nerfed its been + alts

I've played prot since i got to 70,managed to get myself most of kara items + T4 gloves,badge chest,bracers,cloak and boots. Recently got quickening blade of the prince but a mage needed on my trinket for heroic mgt!
Kinda bored of deathwing,takes too long to get groups and a lot of people are immature(like that mage). Manged to get into horizons which are pretty good but won't raid with them till WOTLK. Half tempted to sell my account and roll horde on frostwhisper where my other group of mates play in MH/BT/SWP guilds so i could easily get into a good guild. Dunno if i wanna go dps if i did that as its a lot less gear dependant than prot warrior!
Or......i give the game up!

A decent warrior shield is a piece of cake to get. Do that shattered sun dailies and run MgT till you can get the revered\exhaulted (can't remeber which) one. Post patch, that will shield is good enough for anything up to Sunwell. Or you could just buy the 35 badge one which is nearly as good and will let you tank Gruul\ZA\TK\SSC\MH post patch, in doing so having the chance of 3 better ones dropping.........
Not aimed at you Phoen1x, you clearly "got it" but it is beyond me how many people have whinged and moaned about this and how inconveniant it was. It was meant to be an epic world event, an invasion of the undead legions that players will remember for years to come. I find it unbelieveable that some people want to get back to the drugery of the same gold farming/leveling they have been doing since the launch of BC so badly that they find a couple of days of new content a problem.
It's not the bored level 70s that are the problem. It's the newcomer who has rolled a pink-haired gnome Rogue and is happily questing in the starting area, only to find he/she is getting jumped and camped by level 70 zombies who find it fun to ruin someone else's play. Let's face it, if you were a non-gamer just lured in to WoW by a friend and suffered this, you'd quit the game and never come back. Don't get me wrong though, if you were a level 70, this is something you should be loving, especially as there're lots of easy ways to avoid the zombies.
The zombies were removed as of yesterday I think after numerous complaints on the WoW forums, shame they can't get Armory up unless its been fixed in the past 20 minutes.
I'm a Horde player myself and always will be, but Stormwind Harbor in WotLK is beautiful!

Zombies were fun
It was a challenge to get pots ect from ah for raiding
Was half tempted to get infected and get summon'd to raid infected
Guys that are moaning about there gear.... why moan... WOTLK is out in 3weeks. Just wait 3 weeks, and your on the same par as anyone else so go mental then
3hours on illidan last night
Still didn't get him down Got him to 35%, were having problems with the flames atm our to fire res palla's seem to get lag when the eye comes....
Awsome fight i'm really really enjoying this fight atm. Hopefully down him tonight then go for some trash/1st boss in SWP
EDIT: Wasn't removed from complains - it was moved to that being the next stage of the lich king comming. The infection might possibly happen again soon. Also the infection was a medical experitment to see how infection can grow accross worlds.

The zombie thing ran its course it wasn't stopped due to moaning on the forum. The zombie timer halfed every day up untill the day before yesterday when it was complete havoc and then the cure was found yesterday, hence things back to normal. In any mmo the forum tends to be a very vocal minority and Blizzard seem to have the right attitude of conversing with them but generally ignoring all the whinging and doing what they want anyway. As for the new players, yes I suppose it was a pain in the ass for anyone taking their first faltering steps in wow on those specific days but that tiny tiny minority were not the people doing all the moaning.
