I got more annoyed at all the people cleansing me, bloody do gooders

But I sit here thinking that WOLK quest items will no doubt make some of the lvl 70 items look poor (just as outlands has for pre tbc items).
Well that went down a storm with the guildies and the guild were joined with, told them i wasnt going tank..and ive now been kicked...just great, what sort of game is this...we have 3 classes and i cant use 2..ive had it.
the times ive sacrificed a pet as a warlock, for more damage.. then some weekend warlock has smugly asked 'whats up did you forget you can summon pets'

hahaha, what douche's ! (sorry couldn't help but laugh at their imaturity)
What do you expect?
I can understand why that annoys people, some n00b Lock (not specifically aimed at you) sacrificing a pet to boost his damage meters at the cost of the group having lower health overall.
Honestly, if you don't put the effort into your character and the gear then the game isn't for you, or well don't moan about it at least. I like the game the way it is now, it doesn't need any further dumbing down... (again not aimed at you)
In all fairness unless you have capable DPS gear then I don't see any harshness on their side, that's if they made it clear you was joining as a tank.
Can't really blame people, I'm not interested in bringing Warriors in my groups unless they are tanking (though I play one and love Prot myself) but still, Warriors don't bring much to the group when not tanking.
Guess I'm a "douche" too then. Don't see the immature part really, as I said above unless tanking Warriors don't bring as much utility to a group as other DPS classes.
Yea ive got 3 days of my sub left, and after checking what i need to become a tank and how scarse a decent warrior shield is, its just getting stupid, that if i dont i cant effectivly play, i dont think ill be re-subbing, as at the moment the only things i can do, are PVP, which is run in, swing sword twice, die, revive, rinse a repeat...i cant get into any groups for dungeons or instances at all..so thats basically the end of the game.
We'd like to thank players for participating so zealously (and valiantly!) during the Great Zombie Plague of '08. Our intention with this event was to create something memorable and to literally change the face of Azeroth for a few days. This event is just one of many leading up to Wrath of the Lich King. As you know, the Scourge Invasion is now live as well and there is some other cool stuff coming up before all is said and done. Also, Hallow's End continues on!
While we recognize that the event could prove to be disruptive at times, we hope you made the most out of it while it lasted. Part of playing in a "living and breathing world" means that things are going to change from time to time. We meant no harm but only wanted to create a lasting impression on players as they head to Northrend to defeat the Lich King. The Lich King's goals (as you will soon learn) are to turn the Horde and Alliance not only on one another, but on their own kind as well. I think the plague truly demonstrated this firsthand.
So it looks like a cure has finally been found… for now.
Thank you for participating in our most memorable event to date… for better or for…. brrrrrrraaaaaains…
Couple of other important notes:
* The scourge invasion will continue for a few more days.
* The prologue event is not over! More to come!!
* The Karazhan boss will be up for approximately another week still
* We increased the respawn rate of the Necropoli
* Zombie cure should kick in by around noon PST
I find it unbelieveable that some people want to get back to the drugery of the same gold farming/leveling they have been doing since the launch of BC so badly that they find a couple of days of new content a problem.
