Doubt it, they'd just have to be sent to their respective planet in an imperial shuttle or something. I think you misread

Personally I would park it up outside earth and establish the Earth Defence Force and name myself Grand Marshall. We wouldn't have much to do but we'd go round touring countries - I'd like to make sure the shields would deflect birds and bugs though, it'd would be a pain to clean a Super Star Destroyer.

After hanging around a while I'd take some choice buddies and go and colonise a planet somewhere, or something.
