BBC Issue apology over Ross/Brand 'Prank'

I did listen to some of this show when they first broadcast it and must admit I did laugh when Ross blurted it out, it is mainly his fault though he was the one that kept making the references to Sachs granddaughter and Brand, it was out of line though and the fact they are now discussing this in Parliament is just insane.

As for this thing... Having read the full transcripts of the messages, they were out of order and should be reprimanded. It's not parliament's business though. Surely they can trust the relevant bodies ie ofcom and the bbc to deal with this?

agreed i just read what exactly was said in the sun today its canny sick somthing should be done and not just a p*ssy fine like everyone seems to get these days

(yes i know the sun of all things but it was free :D)

Meh, Brand isn't funny without Matt Morgan on his show, don't know where Matt has gone but won't be listening without him on it, he made his radio show funny.

Anyway, as for this 'prank' it is hilarious how nuts people are going over it!

Brand's shows on Radio 2 and his stand-up have me in stitches but he does go a bit far sometimes, Ross should've known better imo but he has been known to do silly things before.

Doesn't change my opinion on him still think he is a comedy genius (not anywhere near as good as the python's etc but still a very good comedian)

edit: just listened to it now from on youtube, was really funny :D

He had agreed to give them an interview. When he agreed to an interview he would have known exactly the kind of things that Brand and Ross come out with and should have known to expect crude remarks. In a very real way by agreeing to do the interview he was almost asking for comments about his granddaughter - everyone well knows she's not exactly all peaches and light. Have you actually listened to the broadcast in question to understand the remarks' context?
