My Microsoft Exams

Yes its multiple guess.

However, some of the questions can be right little so'n'so's.

Example being a registry edit question with massive strings of text and you have to spot the odd one out that's only very, very slightly different.

I want to take it with no revision just to see how difficult it really is.

Its is multiple choice, the pass mark is 70% and to be honest i didnt find it too bad myself when i did it. I admit i only got 82% so really should have revised :(

Congrats on your result.

70-290 would be a good exam to look at next. managing and maintaining server 2003.

think the course is 2273 (5 Day) or 2274 & 5 (8 Days)

Nice one matey.

I have my 70-290 Windows 2003 under my belt already and I'm studying for 70-620 Vista at the moment but it is so very boring. Who on earth uses Vista's crappy parental controls, Windows mail, remote assistance etc? The Windows 2003 one was a lot harder but a lot more interesting.

How's about a change and do one of the electives to get you on the path to getting your MCSA? I'm deliberating on whether to do SQL Server 2005 or Sharepoint at the mo.

Has anyone done the 70-270 and the MCDST? (70-271 & 70-272)

I'm wondering if I could just sit the 271 and the 272 without learning much more than I already know? I figure MCDST would be nice on my CV too :)

I've done the MCDST and it counts as one exam towards the MCSA (though not towards the MCSE - you still do 7 exams in total).

Relatively easy. Again I'd make sure you've read up on it. I didn't really do much study and passed it.
