If you go arround the back of the monument you go into a small sewer. There are only 2 Mirelurks here and just arround the 1st corner is a spawning pod. Simply sneek arround the corner undetected and then do a runner, job done !

I made a mistake shortly after. I travelled to rivet city, totally by passing GNR and spoke to the DR. So i missed a whole section of exploring out, can i still head to GNR and pick up some missions off three dog ?

No idea, haven't been to Rivet yet, and don't plan on GNR any time soon, way too much exploring to do in the SW of the big map

MegaTON as in a megaton nuke, that which sits in the middle of it.

If you want to visit pinkerton in the bow of rivet city theres an entrance under the water to the left of the door that is very hard to pick. Theres lots of under water tunnels though so you could drowned if you get lost.

I wasn't to happy with the face I made and he offered plastic surgery. Now I have a new face. He also gives you lots of info on the android.

Think this game is a very strong candidate for the all time hall of fame!

The more I play it the more I discover so many different things.

Even after completing it I have since found another 50 locations (reckon there is around 120-125 in all).

Found a hard to reach Oasis with a mini forest and a quest to do with a talking tree man!

Found an Ant Man who you can eventually get his cool looking uniform from.

When I reached level 20 was able to download all the games locations onto the map as well as doing a few other quests which gave me strong attributes.

Found a colony of fire breathing ants.

All of these I missed by completing the main quests. Only discovered them by going for all of the Achievements (have 35/50 now).

Amazed at how much stuff to do and see. This should be the new gold standard for all PC games as its amazing value for money.

Definately GOTY.

It matters to me When I pose for screenshots I see my face! Its like a pile of ironing you don't want to do, you know it needs doing and its always in the back of your mind.

I used a stealth boy and used sneak but I was too slow so in the end I was also running around in circles being chased by Mirelurks

Hmm that must be a recuring theme i did exaclty the same, used stealth boy, sneaked around, it ran out and had a very 'benny hill' scene, loads of them running after me, the buggers even opened the doors and follwed me thru

Mirelurks are evil things anyway, so I just blew them all up. Screw being the nice guy when all they want to do is chop my arms off.

Could anyone tell me how the hell do I repair my weapons?
I have put a few skill points in it but when I'm in my inventory I can see the "R) Repair" but it is always greyed out.

I'm always breaking my weapons

You need 2 of the same weapon/armour, you can then repair one with the other. Just press R and click on the weapons that appear. Also, some vendors can repair stuff for you too, so if you have a rare weapon/armour, you can always get it repaired to 50%.
