Was tempted to get the perk that makes enemies explodeNext time I level up I guess.
Dont forget you get extra damage with that perk. 10% i think.

Mirelurks are evil things anyway, so I just blew them all up. Screw being the nice guy when all they want to do is chop my arms off.
Could anyone tell me how the hell do I repair my weapons?
I have put a few skill points in it but when I'm in my inventory I can see the "R) Repair" but it is always greyed out.
I'm always breaking my weapons![]()
This has been answered many times in this thread.
thanks for your help ;D
I have that one, only disadvantage is that sometimes when they meet a slug out of my shotgun the bits are so small and scattered that it makes it very hard to loot the corpse as it can be hard to findWas tempted to get the perk that makes enemies explodeNext time I level up I guess.

I also found that there are even more sidequests not mentioned in the quests in the pip-boy, so far I rescued 3 tied-up prisoners from Super Mutants and a initiate soldier from a building, all of them were found while doing other missions.
Another question, what gun can I use to repair my Xuanlong Assault Rifle![]()
Further into the game you will find more and even early on you will find loads by exploring. Traders at Rivet city sell some of these weapons. I would max repair skill which allows you to repair a weapon to 100% by combining weapons of the same type and also increases damage. It is also a good way to reduce weight as it best to combine /repair all the weapons of the same type as a weapons value is totally dependent on condition.is that the chinese assault rifle? only another one of the same type as with the other weapons - i've come across some super mutants carrying them but they are few and far between. the worst for me is the combat shotgun, it's my favourite weapon but is always broken as i've not found anyone who carries one yet
re the side quests, there are loads of office buildings i've found too with stuff in that aren't marked on the map, i've just done the LBI (or something similar) building full of protectrons and some sentry robot thing that fired missiles![]()

I think so, what was the repair system like in Oblivion?? I know in morrowind you would use tools like hammers and tongs to repair things, which would have a number of times you could use them to repair before they are used up.
Yes, you can use the parts from the one in the worst condition to repair the other, the higher your repair skill the better the condition will be.So if I have a Combat Shotgun which is damaged...all I need is another Combat Shotgun and then click R for repair?![]()

Ugh, having a bit of a case of oblivion-itis with this game. I love the graphics, the combat, the environment etc, but the dialogue bores me to tears so bad that I just have to quit.
I just got to Megaton and it seems like everyone has a crapload of uninterested drivel to spout, and the worst thing is that you have to go through every single dialogue line if you want to make sure you got the quest or whatever.
It's like... the game gives you a choice whether to be good or evil when you choose what to say, but then after you've said it you can just click on "ask another question" and then take the complete opposite approach, so nothing you say has anyt significance and itis all just a matter of flushing out the whole dialogue tree so that you get everything from the characters. Just so incredibly tedious and boring and is the reason why I didn't last more than 2 hours on Oblivion.
