scotch bonnets

trick small children in to eating them in exchange for money, then laugh.

KaHn

We did this to my little brother in a restaurant once, he was 12 at the time and started crying saying we'd ruined his meal and he hated us and it wouldn't stop burning. That was a funny moment, of course now he denies it.

We also tried something called 'Satans Blood', a distilled chilli oil/sauce, now that was rather hot, you had to put one drop on a dorito and eat it, i think one lad got through 5 or 6 before nearly passing out!

Just fond this stuff, jesus, 1.5m scoville!!

Safari came up with a malware alert for that site..

I've got some 'Dragon's Blood' sauce made from a local guy, its basically Dorset Naga + Capsicum + Vinegar + Paprika.

We have 'Hot Sauce Challenges' at work where I bring in some tortillia chips for laughs ;)

You can actually buy the chemical distilled into crystals in a little glass vial but you have to basically declare that you exempt everyone for any harm that may result - simply put it would hospitalise you.

The strength is something like 15 Million (fifteen!).

Why would you want that?!

WARNING!! IF INGESTED DIRECTLY THIS COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INTERNAL DAMAGE! I am an experienced chilli eater and thought this would be no problem - smeared a tiny bit on some bread and had to drink/ swill milk solidly for twenty minutes afterwards. Got a tiny bit on my hand and it burned for hours afterwards - the red mark remained for a few days - if it has this effect on skin imagine what it does to your stomach...

Ouch! :D

For my works leaving party a few months ago, we found ourselves in a restaurant with a huge jar of giant red chillies.....well, after a few too many glasses of wine, the office joker was easily conned into sampling one, but feeling a bit sorry for him, I offered to join him.....now I love a nice hot chilli and have even sampled a birds eye on occasion, but somehow these bloody great things didn't half pack a wallop. I spent the next fifteen minutes or so asking the waitress for more cold water and swilling it around in my mouth :D

You HAVE to let me know what the Da Bomb is like....been eyeing that up for a while!

well..what can i say other than wow, that stuff is hot. had me gasping for air, mind you i did jump right in and take a teaspoon full. do not do this if you get it, i do it because i like to taste test all my sauces. :p

well worth it if you wanna spice food up. but only use it as an additive, not as a dipping sauce for parties and finger food. unless you wanna incapacitate all your guests/family :p

There's been a few Chilli growers here at work - anyone know the best tasting Chilli for Jalfrezi? I'm tempted to get some seeds and grow them for a tasty Chicken Jalfrezi :D

Nice.

What's the actual flavour like? Does it taste fresh or more "artificial" due to too much extract......or is there even much of a flavour at all because of the heat? :D
