Finally, My New Z4!

Well the Z4 replacement is coming out next year, that and the 3.0 engine has knocked these prices down. Saying that's it's not as bad as the residuals on the Z4/M Coupe which seem to be in free fall at the moment!

Obviously the second hand market is also taking a complete battering at the moment, I'm currently thinking about selling my Z4 as I wan something new.

hmm got me new car, need a nice setting for a shoot, needs to be close to dead people...

i know, graveyard! :p

love the wheels :)

It's more at the rear base of the seat which looks creased and misshapen, it's typical for a Z4 with it's lower standard of build quality to the rest of the brand. Bloody Americans.

Excellent car there, especially for 21, still could have done better for Alsager, no? :p

Alsager? Its in Sneyd Green :p

Haha, we live right next to a graveyard and its always pretty dead(:o) in the mornings and convenient.

Tommo, any corrosion on the 108's, look on the inside rim kinda looks like bird poo!

I had 4 new wheels from BMW a couple of years back as my car was just out of warranty and I kicked up a stink. They've corroded again a little but they are much better than they would have been, I've even seen cars with 108's in the dealers with corrosion!

Pretty poor that a company like BMW can't make a wheel that doesn't end up looking like swiss cheese after a couple of years, sounds crazy but it's actually put me off buying another BMW.

Lovely car!

Is this a 2.5 l then or 3.0l?

That insurance price is impressive. I'm 20, had my license 3 years and have 3 yrs NCB and insurance on a 2.5l is £1400 with admiral :(

Sorry guys I just copied and pasted the spec from before I picked the car up. The car does have cruise control :)

I was suprised with the insurance too. Was only 21 in August and had my licence for 4 years and a month. 0ncb as Ive been on a company fleet insurance for the last 3 years.

I got quoted £1500 from admiral, so try bell and elephant and you could be on to a winner. Adding my Mum and Dad to the policy as named drivers bought the quote down from £1800. Plus the fact that Ive got regular use of a another car and I dont commute in the Z4 so all that helps.

One wheel has just started bubbling. The previous owner had 2 wheels refurbed. Taking the wheels off this weekend to give them a good clean, to work out if its just dirt or corrosion. Absolutely shocking from BMW really for a £35k+ car. I know I'll have this problem sooner or later but its worth it because I love the look with these wheels.

Had a bit of a ding dong with a 3.2 A3 last night. Stuck to him perfectly fine, until he started to drive like an arse weaving in and out of traffic so I just left him to it .
