It's not *that* bad.
I've got it going at 1900x1200 with high textures and rendering and all the distances down at 20 and it's very playable. Stutters a little but I'm hoping the new beta cats will sort that out.

Try running it on Medium Detail with reduced draw distance[TW]Fox;13031703 said:Wow I just had a police chase and it ran okish!
Then it crashed to desktop - RESC10. Apparently that means out of video memory.
Out of video memory? I have a 1Gb video card! Given the only way of getting more is some sort of SLI/Crossfire based solution which the game doesn't support...

@Marlos
Afaik social club has nothing to do with savegames.
You should have logged into an online ''live'' account at start though, first playing with an offline ''games for windows live'' profile and then going online always resets your savegames, it also happens in Fallout 3, Flatout ultimate carnage, etc...
Okay got it to run. Now got another problem...
When selecting graphics options...it won't let me put them all to highest! Gives me some red text about settings being too high etc...how can I by pass this setting?
