***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

With the help of Nieldo I've added my servers to the OCUK group list. I'll post on the group page with info.

217.168.150.203:27016 fragM VS_1
217.168.150.203:27017 fragM VS_2
217.168.150.203:27018 fragM COOP_1
217.168.150.203:27019 fragM COOP_2

All are running default settings aside from direct connect being enabled. I've also got sourcemod on there with the usual admin stuff.

Let me know if you're a responsible person on here that wants admin and/or if you have your own servers and you want to exchange admin rights.

have you disabled the auto balance on your servers? :)
 
How have you disabled it? mp_autoteambalance doesn't make a difference on L4D.

There's a sourcemod plugin called l4d_unscrambler which does a proper job of it.

I've put the sm voting restrictions mod on my server too, which you might want to look in to. Stops non-admins from kicking admins using the in-game callvote (as opposed the sm_vote command which is already locked down). The number of times I've joined my own server and been vote kicked after a bodged autoteambalance is silly :(
 
I used a sourcemod cvar for it but I've not installed unscrambler...I'll do that now.

I've got the voting restrictions mod on there (not tested yet) and it should have admin protect enabled. I'm sure i'll find out soon enough as to whether or not it works ;) I've had my own share of "votekick the admin" experiences too.

edit: unscrambler is now sorted. Will restart the servers in a mo.
