anyone can be lied to and eat the lie up, believing otherwise or trying to say otherwise is ludicrous. Just because it's your son/daughter doing the lying it doesn't change that.

E.g.
Your son/daughter says they're going to the cinema, yet they're really going ice skating, do all parents turn round and automatically know it's a lie. I severely doubt it.

Then you have very stupidly given too much information to your parents.
All they asked was what you did in Amsterdam.
An easy reply would be "Went out and had a good time".
You haven't told lies and your parents haven't picked any tell tale body language signs.
Of course, as soon as you go out of the room your Dad turns to your Mum and says "I bet he went in those porn & drug shops that we went in".

i cant tell my parents had a good time! they just will ask again what did you do

so i end up saying usually everything, but removing sex, drugs and violence, simple.
