Acer G24 Screen

Now that looks perfectly acceptable for an TN based screen. Theres virtually no bleeding at the top, and little to no bleeding at the bottom.
Now if you compare that, to my screen..... yeah, theres definitly a fault with mine :)

I think your screen looks perfectly fine :)

Looking back at your pic, i see what you mean loque. if u need higher res pics to show acer i can upload them again.

edit: your black does look like a nice inky black though. i took my pics in total darkness though. maybe thats the difference.

if you open the Acer ADM, in the Color tab, you'll find Color Calibration. Follow the intructions in that, and you should get much nicer, and accurate colors. Also, I recommend setting your RGB settings to R:88 G:88 B:100 Thats what I use. If you search google for monitor brightness calibration, you should find a couple of websites with some good tests that you can use to get your brightness and contrast just right.

I have to say, these forums are full of "nice" friendly people. Some forums are full of keyboard assassins :P

Thank you for the tips loque. you are a gentleman sir!

not a problem :)
You'll find most people on here will be just as helpful. Might aswell try and get the best out of your screen :P

Your backlight looks pretty much spot on! a lot better than what id'e expect from a TN panel.
Thanks for the pics. I'll be sure to send them to Acer to show them that im not happy with mine. :)
