Not at all, there are kids there with the ability, but there are hurdles for them... Why force a kid to write when a laptop can be used and actually benefits them as they are a lot faster typists at the end of school

I'd say it was a benefit and playing to someone's strengths rather than punishing them for a weakness....
Also, it's a statistic that says Dyslexics are more creative... so let them draw, it's not laziness, it's their strength
The autistic boy I was supporting had fantastic numeracy and spelling skills along with a high level of IT (for his age). His verbal and social skills weren't fantastic, but in no way was he lazy, all i did was help to focus him on the tasks, rather than let him get distracted, at this point he'd sometimes "overload" and get rewind moments where he got aggitated.
