Ive went and ordered the AXpro, im not too fussed about the wires, more about having good sound quality and being able to use them with my pc, 360 and ps3.
After reading reviews of the X4s I was tempted to get a set, was happy to go with IR but then I noticed that the only 5.1 feed it can recieve is from the xbox, not a secondary feed (only accepts a second stereo feed). So are there any RF wireless headphones that can take multiple feeds (would accept one at a time if only option) and also support the xbox headset functions (cable from headphones to controller pad also not a problem)?

Anyone know of any wireless headsets that work with the xbox but can also be used with other 5.1 feeds?
I'm thinking of just getting the X1's. Purely because the only time I will use them is rockband, is it really worth spending the extra.
So I take it you have to plug into the optical port on the back of the AV cable?
If you get the X1's Dannyjo could you post a mini review?
I too am an expectant father now, so something like the X1's would be ideal to muffle the sound of gunfire from my late night CoD sessions.
That's assuming I'm going to be awake enough to be up late at night! Of course, there is always the early morning sessions when baby won't go to sleep!
No the phono RCA's, red and white as its just a stereo signal. They are like Y shaped connectors so they still connect to your TV (with component and VGA anyway) then the green fly lead for the sound. If HDMI its either the dongle or the actual TV phono outs, or of course just stick them straight in the headphone jack if the TV has one.
The bit that deals with the digital signals is the pricey part of most headphone kits so you wont be using an optical lead.
Is there anywhere in the UK that actually sell the X3 or X4's yet?

The others need phono plug in's where as these go straight into the optical of the AV lead. Even the x3's seem to have to be plugged into a tv?

My mate just bought the X4's for £160 from americaWish i had money to burn
