I think I got the BFG GTX280 OC - is that any good? Arrived at home and Im at work - took a while to decipher the laypersons explaination of what was in the box...

Dont these ones overheat a bit :eek:. Doubt the pre-oc is that high - but the 10yr warranty will be useful. Wonder what I get with the bugger - cba to call back as no doubt Ill be told about the stream processors and everything else on the back of the box :p

BTW OcUK who is the warranty with? Small concern I have is if I have to go back to the manufacturer if they look at the receipt theyll see I was sold an OcUK GTX280 model and not one of theirs. Just trying to avoid pain down the line...

I'm not sure if this has already been pointed out but it looks like OcUK is getting more of these in stock.

Pretty sure it will say 28/01 tomorrow - I suspect the e-commerce part of the shop outfills that kind of detail if nothing valid has been inputted...

Since they are all sold out - I cant why Yewen would be tight lipped if they are getting more...

Omg, just checked the tracking system: No One To Receive Card Left 26/01/09 18:21. I've been at home all day, going to ring and complain!
 
DHL are a joke.

I got my PC from OcUk - They shipped it fine on Friday, and it took a WHOLE WEEK for it to get here.


I had to phone everywhere, speak to machines and everything and it got me nowhere.

I then went to Edinburgh's DHL Center and asked there. The guy took my details and said the system may have been stolen, So i came home angry.


40mins later I got a phone call saying the security had done a sweep of the building and found my machine in the back of a Van. They then told me the driver probably couldnt be bothered delivering it to me. Remember this was a week after the PC had been shipped !


Seems they can't promise Next day service. Shame Really.

Well mines looks like its going back.....artifacting is rife in both GTA IV and Left 4 Dead...I will probably do a clean install to make sure its not just that but I have a feeling my card is a dud :(

who do you think it would be better to however? OcUK or BFG?

I suppose if I send it back to BFG I will get the same card back again!
