I'm just getting started on this game, only played the Skate demo. I came across a Books spot which needed me to beat 500 and then 1000 points, now it just wants me to beat my previous best. Have I "killed" it or do I need to beat my old score, or what?

Seems like some stuff in this game assumes prior knowledge of playing Skate

For each spot there is an own it score and a kill it score. After that you can try and beat your best if you want. There is an achievement for finding and owning all spots, but not for killing them all (which I find a little odd)

Off the top of the dam. Legs down.

managed to progress a load of my challenges there. You can get enough speed and distance to do a lot of stuff.

Game is mental, got it for the 360.

Question though, I found the ABC spot, how the hell do you own it? I tried pumping up the curves etc but I just fall off lol...

Anyone?

Is that the one where you drop in off the ledge? Either do a trick in the air or when you air up the other side after you land.

Ahh yeah, I seen a open ledge above it, but I came across it on the lower ledge. Ill make my way up to the top

Anyone noticed that this game just feels smoother and better the more you play it.

Even more than Skate 1 does, there are some great new areas in this game.

Yup. I found with Skate 1, that everything more or less looked the same, they wasnt really much difference to one park, to another. But Skate 2, you can see the difference, gameplay, areas, and feel.
