well it teased me, it said "hold up, the sequel to the best sports game of last year is being made" and I responded with "holy ****, I better look out for that one" so job done really.

Only thing that I saw that might be a bit of a downside was that it looked a little more "Skatable" (THPS like, random quarter pipes everywhere) which is something i don't want to happen.

I think they just concentrate on skate parks in that vid, there seem to be more of those. The shots of the streets still look pretty natural though with rails and banks scattered around.

This really does sound like it is going to be great. Over 200 moves in it now.

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=194586

"You find your former home a much more oppressive place for skaters. Some grinds and half-pipes have skatestoppers on them - little aluminium plugs that will send you flying off your board if you don't spot them messing up a line. What's more, the Skate 2 staff say more of these will appear if you 'misbehave', but instantly clam up when we ask what exactly that means. "

They sound annoying :(

Rest of that article looks great though.

Id like the loading times for videos to be quicker, it was so long that I didn't bother really. More room for photos as well, and be able to scroll through them quicker.

Thanks, I never really experienced any slow down with the original as far as I remember but improvements are always nice! Not being able to get off your board was an obvious thing that was missing, should be an excellent improvement.
