If it's a Games for Windows game then it will allow you to use the XBox 360 controller which should be perfect for this kind of game. I bought the official USB wireless receiver thingy but have yet to use it properly with my controller. Might look at this game for some chill out enjoyment if it comes out ok.

Only the graphics are a bit poor for pc standards, because they haven't really been improved ( aside from massive AA, texture filtering, and superior resolution) from the original console design for the x1800xt and 7900gt... See GRID which runs at 40-55 fps for me (also on 1080p and 8xcsaa) but looks much better.
