Graphite alloys

I'm not sure about this.

Black wheels don't look good unless totally clean and with the rim highlighted. All black looks terrible most of the time.

Graphite can look superb on the right car. Take the Ferrari 430 Scuderia for example.

Jesus you lot act like right keyboard warriors sometimes. I KNOW it's NOT a 1.2, I'm saying that these days most car manufacturers do not make hatchbacks with 4 exhausts

its a BMW M car tradition

it works because its brand tradition, not done to be down with the boy racers.

All black wheels remind me of Munich in the winter, with everyone running around on winter tyres on steels.

Oooops :o

This is not true - the Z3M Coupe, certainly all the facelift models, had DSC fitted as standard.

Well it's partially true as I'm pretty sure the S50 didn't have it. At least that was what I was told when I was considering buying one. The thread is about wheels though so I fail to see what relevance this nitpicking has.

The average person would NOT recognise that as a high performance car. In fact if I were to do a poll on Facebook or something with that picture titled "modified chav-mobile or high performance BMW" I bet the former would win :D

That says allot about the average intelligence of the people on your friends list :p

How is anyone being a keyboard warrior?
