Rotten eggs don't appear until later on as far as i'm aware, level 5 onwards are the only areas I have had one drop from an enemy.
 
Is it possible to do Chapter select and play say 1-1 again and then continue with 3-1 or will that mess up forcing me to play from the beginning again?
 
I haven't bothered renting/buying this. I feel kinda strange not playing the latest Resi game. I've played and finished every major Resi game. I even bought a dreamcast for CV.

Nothing about Resi 5 interests me apart from the story, which I have watched on youtube.
 
Bit of a noob question here but how do i get the infinite ammo to work, i got it in the item menu and turn it on at the start of the level but it doesnt seem to work ?
 
Complete the entire game on one setting and have which ever weapon you want the unlimited ammo for fully upgraded, then go into bonus settings and exchange your points for that guns infinite ammo then turn the ammo on in special settings.

Think i have found the end of 5-3 best for farming, 10 lions hearts in 6 mins including exiting and saving isn't bad

Money farming isn't so bad for me. It's farming the points. To get Unlimited ammo for the magnum I need 15000 points. That's ten A ranks on mercenaries. I just cba to do that. :(
 
I can imagine, I just can't get on with merc mode though..
I've done the game twice and probably half again on armature and have bought four unlimited ammo guns and still have 24k points left though, should i manage it on pro, would hopefully get plenty more as well.
 
What guns do you prefer and why?
I am finding it a bit hard to choose between which ones to upgrade, I haven't filled them in as I am at 3-1 on my first playthrough.

It's a great game for playing coop with the gf but it's really dull on my own.

Pistol because you always use it and shotgun because it does a lot of damage and ammo is plentiful. I use the starting pistol because of its capacity and the M3 shotgun.

SMGs are useful for bosses but tear through ammo and rifles are not that useful.
