What is the Uk power supply?

Formally 240V, now 230V 50Hz
Right answer, though it fluctuates a fair bit...

Shouldn't really be hitting 250V like it has a few times in the past week. Not sure what's going on there.

Anyway, you'll need a heavy duty step down transformer to power a juicer. We've probably still got a few at work - great big yellow things. No idea what they cost, but probably more than a new juicer.

APC?

My AVR Trim light is occasionally on, for hours at a time.

Maybe it's just a decoration to keep us from feeling like we wasted our money. :p

Why would anyone, out of all the electronics you could buy cheaper in USA come back with a juicer?

A juicer for heavens sake, you like everyone else who has ever bought one will only use it once.

I was going to post something helpful here, but then I realised it was one of 'those' threads, and decided against it..

I then decided to post something alluding to the 'special' nature of the original poster, but realised that had already been stated by so many others, I would only be restating the obvious.

So, I will just leave this thread now, and hope that it goes away quietly..

Many thanks for all the replies guys and sorry for the late posting

The juicer is 100 watts and the plug is 110 volts. I emailed the company and they said that I won't need to use a stepdown transformer. Instead they said the juicers works fine using a 240v plug adapter. I don't think I have used one of these before, is that the kind where you push the USA plug I have into the adapter and then you plug that adapter into your mains outlet? Or is it simply a new cable with a UK plug on the end that takes voltage up to 240 volts?

Many thanks in advance
