Demigod by Gas Powered Games (SupCom)

I've now taken two days off work so I can really get into this and the new L4D update if that comes out. Think I deserve a break from work, and what best to do then to play this!!!! :D

Next big patch will be out over the weekend, so expect a few more updated for stats and items :)

I dont understand... i thought everybody needed a valid cd key in order to enjoy multiplayer. how can the pirates bog down demigod's online?

The game generates traffic at load, when trying to open multiplayer (even if you have an invalid key), and so on and so forth.

crashes to buggery for me :( (win 7 (64) 7057)

sticking vista back on the other hdd to play it :p

what I have played has been awesome :D

It wouldn't even load for me on build 7068.. installing build 7077 seems to have done the trick :)
Hopefully it means I can play the PennyArcade games too.. which have crashed on all previous builds of win7

Gamespot review is up and they rated it as 6.5! :/

I think that the review failed on a few of the 'negative' points. The reviewer said that because the game has no real single player, i.e. campaign, it doesn't feel like a full game. That doesn't make sense to me because, for example, Team Fortress 2 and Sins of a Solar Empire don't have single player campaigns either but they are highly acclaimed. Also, I think the reviewer got a bit too caught up with the online connectivity problems that have been troubling players for the last few days; don't all online heavy games suffer in some way at launch?

Here is the review for anyone that wants to see it:

Yup, totally agree. The reviewer seems overly harsh just 'because.' Halo 3 and many other 'big' games had crappy online starts, and in this particular case it's primarily because of pirates and GameStop breaking the street date, something that GameSpot acknowledges on their own news page!

Impulse : eekfek

added Andrew burns & swerv0 ...

should we start a Demigod ID thread ?

**Update released today**

gamespot gave far cry 2 an 8.5 which is ridiculous. The review games based on hype. its not even worth mentioning their review

Quick question people if buying from impulse are you playing on EU servers or USA? Or are they joint?

Just ordered demigod collectors edition and digital download for £44, it better be good. Ive got to download impulse now, i think it must be something similiar to steam?
