zorst looks fine, scoobs are one of few cars that can get away with it, plus makes that scoob burble sound even better

only problem with scoobs is you get addicted to the kick when turbo hits, meaning goodbye to fuel economy, but who cares about that when your grinning like a mad man :D

Congratulations, I bet you will have a lot of fun in that.

It's not my cup of tea at all, but I do have huge respect for the Impreza and it's capabilities.

He's got a PPP also, so the exhaust is fine. Sam would do just fine with a new turbo, panel filter, and mapping. Would make plenty of power, easily over 350bhp

As long as both of you understand the difference between "is capable of" and "will actually produce". For example: the injectors. Yes, a well made, well matched and well set up set of standard STI injectors will allow 350bhp. But the slightest problem with them and you may not get there. The first lesson of tuning Imprezas is that you seldom get the power you were expecting with any given set of mods. That's not just my experience, but that of a lot of other people. Unless the power was measured at Well Lane anyway.

By all means go with that suggestion: panel filter, turbo and remap. You may be lucky, and get there first time. You may not, in which case it's time to work out what next. More likely you'll start thinking about 400. Or 450, or 500...

Does looks very nice indeed, i hope you enjoy it, especially in the weather we're currently having (if its as sunny your way as it is ours!).

I don't personally think the exhaust looks big/out of place, they kinda come with the territory where Impreza's/Evo's etc are concerned!

Do you have any plans for this one?
 
That's a pretty nice looking motor there! I personally don't like the Black alloys but everything else looks spot on aesthetically. I do love how clean the centre console is too! :D
 
My colleage recognised this from ZSOC.

I love this shape Impreza, if a little common and played out by the local Chavs though. I live on a main road and that distinctive burble is now a permanent song!

I'm really not keen on the wheels, they are best suited to bronze/gold/silver IMO but it certainly looks in good nick. I hope you get along with this more than you did the VX. I know what I'd prefer but I'm sure this is much nicer to live with on a daily basis.

Were you driving this around Woking today by any chance? I saw one just like it earlier turning out of Boundary Road with another scoob behind it. License plate ended in ZHK?
