Demigod by Gas Powered Games (SupCom)

Have to agree with uv. No idea what you're going on about most of the time.

If you're referring to people playing the game illegally via Hamachi then that is not what we are talking about - what we mean is playing the FULLLY PAID FOR GAME in LAN mode via Hamachi due to the problems that the normal multiplayer has.

edit: I see you've been suspended since this. Nice job mods :)

So how do you manage to start a game together through impulse, all i can see is the option to chat. I saw gurusan appear on the right hand side of my screen but couldnt click him or anything .

Just use the chat window to communicate, make a game and tell your buddies the title. Easier said than done though. I'm hoping by the end of next week the connectivity will be much faster. Even though they've stopped the pirates from connecting, the servers are still horrendously overloaded.

Yup. It's quite unfortunate really. The game is quite fun but it lacks depth when compared to DotA. This wouldn't normally be a bad thing if the game was quick to pick up, play and then put down again (indeed, I was looking for something similar to DotA but a little less of a time-sink)...But it's currently not. It's early days though so I'm happy to wait on the devs to get it sorted :)

Played this a bit yesterday vs the AI.After a few warm up games to learn I Had a 2v2 with myself teamed with normal AI vs two Hard AI.
Was playing as the Unclean Beast who was dealing awesome dps @ 20 with the fire cloak, 18k weapon and the 25k ring, but i got my ass kicked by one of the AI's playing a sniper type char, no idea what he was using but he seemed to have massive evasion, I'd only ever manage to get him down to about 70% after blowing my coldowns before he killed me. Any idea what he was using?

No idea about that not played the sniper one enough to know. The unclean beast should pretty much chew through anything at 20 though. It certainly needs addressing as when they get level 12+ they start being massively overpowered. I think the mage char needs a little rebalance too. I play as the rook usually and can hold my own against them up until early teens and then i just get wasted, even if i put no points into tower of light and restructure i cant damage them down quick enough.

Also money is so hard to come by unless you keep killing demi gods. Barely have enough to keep 1 low heal and mana pot plus a port.

Oak kicks the poo out of anyone after 15.. minions do all the work, particularly the lvl4 minotaurs. Chewed through a lvl20 unclean beast in next to no time.

Loving this game though :)

The trick with Rook is to put points in towers and to build the one on your shoulder. If looking like you're about to take on a demi, drop two towers right next to you and they will boost the one on your shoulder, meaning you'll hit for 500+ every second or two. Try and pick your fights near structures too, so you can life tap in the midst of the fight.

I always max the shoulder one out, i found i just get dragged away from the towers making them pretty useless as you have a fairly lengthy cooldown on creating new ones. Also means you have less points to put elsewhere too. I shall have a play tonight though and see if i can distribute them better.

i still can't make up my mind.

I have made a really nice Unclean Beast build based on max attack speed, spit and plague.

But i just seem to like playing all the characters i guess i will just have to come up with 8builds and play as which ever one i feel like.

Finished playing through the single player tournament on easy and normal now, both are really quite easy, hard mode seems a much bigger step up. Only played as the fire/ice magic guy (can't remember his name :p) so far, so I might try a few others soon.

Absolutely brilliant game :D

Looking around on the forums, a ton o' people recommend http://www.gameranger.com/ as a good hamachi/garena alternative..

Yeah, I was tempted to try gameranger but Hamachi worked well enough for me/john/ric to play... Well, I say that, but John had his usual garena issue of losing sync/connection.

I think the big thing that'd help is him getting a decent router ;)
