02 M3

Not that exact car, i just picked a nice picture :) That actual car is a manual too, and is more expensive due to ultra low miles and the late reg.

So the car in the pic is not the car, plus it's not 14k and actually costs more then that pictured and the 14k you mentioned? Blimey this non-negotiable stuff sure is catching :)

What is the point of your post please? Its a picture of an M3 in the best colour's, thats as far as it goes.

I'd never drink beer and post, serious business the Internet! Wine, well yes gallons of wine but never beer....well ok never say never....I was sober once.....ok it's an ambition, one day I'll be sober.

Mervs M3 individual was 21k about 15 months ago.

That is one nice mmmmmmm3, rear pipes look crap though, needs 4 pipes not 2! It's an M3, not a 335.

Only browse the Motors forum occasionally, but this thread is a classic so had to post. Fido sounds like a good guy, taking it all in jest :)

That M3 posted by Jez is a beautiful example aswell !

Im currently working my notice period and have to give back my company car in about 5 months time. I am totally torn between being sensible and getting a brand new 3 series or A4 on the private hire plans that they do or...for the same budget...an 02/03 M3.

Granted, the 02/03 M3 will be a lot more leggy than a new A4 or 320 but god it will be a lot more fun. The other thing to take into account is any maintenance on the M3. The private hire plans can include a maintenance warranty.

I just can't decide...my head says get a sensible new motor with a maintenance plan. My heart says get the M3, enjoy it for 12 months, then get the sensible car...

When buying one second hand, are there any major things to look out for?
