Demigod by Gas Powered Games (SupCom)

3 things I only just discovered last night:

1) Favour Items! Makes the whole start of a game way easier!

2) I thought you could only have 1 x Hat, 1x Boots etc. Turns out you can have whatever combination you like, Torch Bearer and Regulus get a fair bit more awesome when you stack 2 x mana regen hats on them.

3) Oak is pure lolworthy to play, expecially when they kill you only to find that you get up and hack at their face for a good bit before actually dying. I quite like Oak, he's pretty solid, and gets stupid DPS when you have a few spirits up.

Oh yes, just remembered. I can't seem to get the hang of the QoT playstyle, can someone give me a few pointers?

I hate that so much :p

Thankfully, as Regulus, I'm already half the map away when I kill him - so he dies before reaching me. It's annoying that the AI controlled allies keep on hacking away when he's in his resurrected mode - they should be coded to just run away and keep their HP 'til he dies again.

Now that is good to know. Never really tried it out, but I can See an Armoured to hell Rook coming along.

Oh and another fun thing you can do with Oak is to get the Heart of Life, go fight another Demigod, if you're losing, cast your Shield and activate the Heart of Life. Laugh as your Health and Mana boost right up to near full again.

I can only imagine how irritated the other player must be.

Tis all part and parcel though. Regulus would laugh at you because he'd have put Mark of the Betrayer on you, and you'd kill yourself activating your shield :p

Yeah, but then I'd just roll my eyes and call the Regulus player a homosexual in my head. He really irritates me with his accross the map sniper shots. :D

I think he's a bit too strong in the later levels, in his profile it says he excels vs Demigods, when in reality he excels vs everything, and will happily march up one side of the map chewing up towers simply by being able to outrange them. The creeps dont have a chance vs his mines either.

So whats the best favour item to use? I seem to use the green cloak item forgot what its called.

I pretty much always use the +10 speed anklet. It's not the best, or most expensive favour item - but early game +speed really helps, as flag caps are the quickest and easiest way to gain XP at the start.

Easily the best overall - have you ever seen a lvl20 unclean beast with it? with his stacked movement speed from talents / boots he can move from one end of the map to the other faster than he could teleport, its obscene:D

My favour always resets so i've not had a chance of buying anything yet! How exactly do the points work (when workig gas intended obviously)? Do the points acrue when you unlock acheivements then you spend them like money on permanent items which you can then choose to use 1 of in a game?

Yes - but Favour Points earned in single player games don't roll over to multiplayer games.
