What happens if the powers that be decide that none of the entries are actually suitable as a corporate logo? Do the judes still decide whose was the best anyway and give the prize, even though it will never actually get used? Or is the competition such that whoever wins, that logo wil be used regardless?

Although I'm not sure that I can provide .eps format, photoshop has it but I'm unsure that it is scalable when exporting it (I'm guessing you have to use adobe illustrator to do it properly).

But looking at the other entries I won't have a chance of sniffing the 285 ^^

i weren't sure if it actually needed a union jack in it, or just the colours of the flag, so i just quickly added the flag in the background...

are the entries limited? or unlimited? =)

These are the best so far, nice logo designs, both are good maybe prefer the binary.

Here's 2 i whipped up on lunch break.

This is probably my favourite of the lot but you've blatantly stole matian_aphid's idea.

Kudos for rolling with it though, I think I like that a little better than matian_aphid's stuff... but credit should go to him for getting the main idea up and running surely?

Or you cut the graphics card in half and split it, or you each receive a card that's half the value of the GTX 285 :p
 
I actually started with the UJ but thought it looked a bit obvious and the brief kind of hinted towards wanting the colour scheme but not necessarily the flag so I stylised it out with the stripes instead, here's that version if people prefer to see the flag:
