nah it is, If I do this "OC" that's nowt like them. nobody afik has accused him of ripping off the OC series merely mentioned that they do indeed look extremely alike
This is the best so far, but as others have said it would be unfair to enter this as your own.
I think if this design's colours were played around with, we may be onto a winner.
Namely, I'm thinking perhaps experiement with the OC's black and also, the space within the C looks a little empty or missing something to me.
It's very good, it just feels like it needs something more.
EDIT:
Why not try the speedometer dial thingy on the C?

I actually started with the UJ but thought it looked a bit obvious and the brief kind of hinted towards wanting the colour scheme but not necessarily the flag so I stylised it out with the stripes instead, here's that version if people prefer to see the flag:
thats a great attempt martin although i preferred your original Squared stripes idea. but gurdas' flag placement is perfect imho and a much more rounded "product" i think you should get a chance at winning with the overall concept but you can't beat this im afraid

Gurdas should not have stolen the idea in the first place.

Just an idea... The flag... The red line on the flag could end in a point like the overclocking sort of logo.

Woah there guys! I didn't aim to 'steal' anyones idea, i've been graphic designing since a young age and that's not my tactic. Originally (as posted) I thought the logo could be tweaked and suggested how but then I thought i'd have a crack at how it would look as I think i'd be able to do a better job of how it could be improved. It's all good fun even though the last logo used uses none of the same typefaces as martians other than the the orange county rip
