We've been linked with him for ages.
Surely we'll either be signing Tevez or another striker though? Can't see Fergie relying on Welbeck and Macheda yet, I'd like to see both go out on loan for a full season.

I do love Tevez and would have him over Berbatov.
Personal pref, nothing else.

Sheffield Wednesday = First love.
Manchester United = second love, have a lot of family that support them.
It's looking increasingly likely that Tevez wont be at UTD next season unfortunately, I'd love to be proved wrong but my gut feeling says that he & SAF both know he'll be elsewhere 
The Valencia rumour has been one that's been around for quite a while now but like the Veloso rumours I think they're just that rumours, Fergie has already said that Nani will still be around next year and we've got Ljajić joining us as well so it doesn't make sense to buy another winger. Oh and not to mention Tosic
If Tevez does go then a striker is a must, cant see if being SAF's number 1 choice Benzema though

I don't think Love is anywhere near as godlike as he is on FM
I would love Benzema but I think he'd cost a lot more.

Ljajic is only 17, no chance of him being part of the first team for several years really. I'd like to see Tosic more next season. I'm surprised we haven't seen him get more sub appearance this season. I guess every fixture has been important lately. 'Hopefully' if we win the league before the last game of the season he might get a chance then.

He's 17, 2/3 years off a thinking about a start.
I don't really think the squad needs too much improvement, maybe look for another midfielder, but I'd definatly not pay 30 mill for Tevez, between 10-20 yes.
Benz if not, Frazer Campbell, Wellbeck, Macheda ? will all be wanting to fight for a place though.
Right any more of this ****ing nonsense and you are going on ignore.
So's Macheda and so far he's won two games for us this season and played an FA Cup Semi Final
Although I agree with Ljajic not joining up until January it's unlikely that we'll see him much if at all next season
On the striker front dont forget Manucho is on his way back

i can't see how anyone prefers a 3 goal 3 assist in like 1700 minutes of football tevez, over a 9 goals 9 assists in 2200 minutes Berbatov, Tevez is simply not a striker, he doesn't fit in any single role at the club and isn't very good, he runs a lot but does nothing. Berb's has 3 times the strike rate and assist rate yet has only spent an extra 1/3 time on the pitch over Tevez. Also its ONLY since Tevez has been starting that Man U have been spluttering through the past 2 months, before that is was plain sailing to a treble with an outside chance of a quintuple. Rooney has in the past month or so, even against Liverpool when he was maybe the only good Utd player on the pitch, really come into his own when sticking to a SINGLE position. If he plays upfront, like against Spurs in the first half he was UPFRONT< he wasn't aimlessly running around like Tevez, he was always available for Berbatov to pass to, its why Berbatov looked so much better, he was playing in his position, feeding a faster player throughballs. Likewise in the second half, and in many games including that liverpool game he's been played as a left wing and he's played as a left wing rather than a left wing who again aimlessly chases everyone. he was always there for passing to, ran the wing, crossed the ball and arrived into the near post to get on the end of crosses. Since he's started playing a single position he has improved in clinicalness and usefullness 10 fold.
Tevez "could" be good again if he stops chasing people and starts playing his position, but I can't see it happening.
As for Ribery to Barca, I can't see why, whose he going to start ahead of Henry or Messi, Iniesta, even Keita plays well on the wing, they've still got Hleb who I can't see them being able to offload for much cash if at all this year. IF they sell Eto'o and Henry moves to the middle you might get a left side spot open, but Eto'o has scored what, 27 goals for them was it, they'd be mad to let him go.
At Arsenal I'd happily take Santa Cruz over Ade any day of the year, I'd take Hesky over Ade and I think hesky is monumentally crap. But why spend 18mil on Santa Cruz when we've been scoring just fine this year, we've still conceded far to many this year and still look wide open defensively. If we don't spend money on a DM this year we're screwed, not least because another crap season not realistically getting a single chance at a title, risking losing CL footie again we'll be tempting a LOT of our good players to leave.
