IMO, the only thing that's "Web 2.0" about some of the designs in this thread is the casual overuse of the "glass effect" on logos. But what exactly defines "web 2.0" style anyway? AFAIK, Web 2.0 only really refers to the way page content is loaded and managed on the web interface, not the aesthetic graphical style of websites

Hold on Mr. Contradiction, in one sentence you say that the 'casual use for the 'glass effect' has been overused, inferring that it's a web 2.0 "style" and then you go on to say that you don't think Web 2.0 has anything to do with style? But I'll enlighten you as either you're being pedantic for the sake of it or can't be bothered to use a search engine.

Web 2.0 'style' (no, there's no such thing in reality but then Web 2.0 as an entity doesn't exist either, it's purely perceptual) is normally typified by large bold fonts, gradients, curved boxes, shape flashes, reflections, big solid blocks of colour etc.

And suddenly everyone points out logos you didnt even know existed!
Am working on new ones as we speak!

err, of coarse i new it existed, i did not google 'logo's made by chewwie' lol

OcUK Bread... surely that wins :o nice work Katie and of course everyone else in this, I just wish there was an easier way in seeing all the entries...

Also, PM's are disabled on here, so good luck on messaging anyone :p

Really like your design. The black top with the grey logo looks awesome, I'd buy one ;)

And I'm also really liking the white OcUK website design :p Maybe something that OcUK should also look into? Alternate website colours, not just for the forums.
