OCUK Rolling Road Day 9 - Its booked!

Well, car has just finally been parked for the night.. took far too long to get all my stuff done today :(
 
Ill be turning up about 9.30/10am due to rob forcing me to come along, I think its just so he can poke fun at my ginger hair :mad:

I'll be there, should be there around 9ish ...certainly no later than 09:30.

And yea it was RR7 Fox, same one I ran my 330, I remember neither me or Olly could get proper readings with our auto boxes.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to properly clean the car today, due to the weather, I set out to do it around 16:00, only it started raining :/ ....so I had to be content with simply jet-washing the worst of the mud spray of the doors, arches and sills :( ...I had planned to have it perfect but alas, bloody weather.
 
Mine is perfect. Unfortunately, the spanner in the works is the 170miles of Motorway between me and Powerstation. Doh! I needn't have bothered :(
 
Ooo I have a got a brand new full set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics on it though, had them fitted Thursday :D ...even though they aren't properly bedded in yet they have more grip than my old set of contis had, especially in the wet. I think I got most of the tyre fitting gunk of the wheels today, probably still some if you look hard though, since I couldn't give it a proper clean.

Just put two on the back of the Z4 today, nowhere near as cool looking as the GS-D3's on my 530 but the ride quality is loads better :D
 
My mate decided he wants to tag along, so that's me, my mate and cymatty all coming to add to the fun :p

Gave my car a quick once over this evening... have no idea whether it's actually helped as by the time I'd finished, it was dark. Given it a few full throttle runs in 4th to see how high the boost will peak, so hopefully no boost cut for me this time :o

Override the MAP sensor, problem solved! :p

I'm not sure about the convoy - if I'm not there by 7.15 leave without and I'll see you down there - could be late up yet :rolleyes:
 
Well looks like I may have to pull out too.

Apparently I have to wait for a parcel full of car parts that my GF paid for a Saturday delivery on, while she works, then we get to fit them on Sunday/Monday.
