**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

You're thinking of the other Serbian lad they've signed aren't you jakeke? Whose name I cannot be bothered to remember or search for. Yeah, him.

Pogrebnyak would be a great signing for Arsenal. I was amazed when no one picked him up last summer, especially as every time I saw Zenit he looked twice the player that muppet and serial chance waster Pavlyuchenko did and it was him that got signed .

He played good first game of the season like
No he didn't. Colocinni was slow and clumsy in that game. Man Utd were truly awful in that game and Newcastles only threat was slamming the ball over Browns head for Guttierrez to run on to. I said that day that if Newcastle play like that this season they'd get relegated.

Wrong post I know but what has happend to Tosic he has hardly played for Man Utd
He's been playing in the reserves and he's ****. He is out of his depth at reserve level and always gets outshone by Lee Martin. Lee ****ing Martin.

Adem Ljajic. Looks a prospect. Only 17 IIRC.

We haven't played like that since then, we were direct and quick under Keegan and that's all gone. If we played every game since like that (with Keegan) we'd be mid table comfortably.

Has your location always been Bristol? Not bringing the whole you must support where you are from argument, but I'm 99% positive that your location said Newcastle a few weeks ago....

Oh and Nokkon's been saying that all season, due to our 1st game performance in that match we'd be relegated, now he's flying high that the prediction will be right :DJust joking Karl

Yep Ljajic is 17 and back on loan at Partizan for this season (not sure about next?)

I'm a little confused too. Common sense would have him on loan, but back to us in the summer, but I was under the impression he was on loan to them for a further year, meaning Jan 2010... and we know how January signings usually get on, so it seems a little daft to take him after 12 as opposed to 6 or 18 months.

We were awful, you were poor and barring for Shay Given and his face blocks you'd still have been beaten comfortably.

So because we couldn't beat Man U, it was likely we'd go down?

Even though da mic said it jokingly he's right, you're only saying it to show your prediction was right, but it wasn't. (see the phrase 'post ergo propter hoc').

Yeah, I'm in Bristol at the moment da mic, normally in Newcastle though.

No, because of the players you had and the predictable nature of your football I said you'd go down and the fact that you didn't even come close to punishing a truly horrific Man Utd performance.

And I'm not JUST saying it now, I've said it many times through the season, but I don't want to sound a broken record, but I know you were aware I said it at the start of the season when you specifically were giving it big licks about having Keegan aboard (I also said he'd leave you shafted - but that was obvious, his past record at everyone shows he's a quitter). As for my prediction being wrong (that Keegan would leave, Newcastle would get relegated) how is that wrong? It's very much on course for being two for two?

I do hope Newcastle go down, but that's only so Middlesbrough stay up. I want Newcastle and Boro to stay up because I like both you and Mic as posters here.

All I'm saying is that I don't think we're getting relegated for the reasons you're saying, although I agree to an extent of the Keegan quitting point.

There are a few reports saying that we've all but signed Croatian winger, Daniel Pranjic from Heerenveen. He was the player of the year in Holland this year and scored 17 league goals from left back or left wing and that's about all i know about him other than a couple of youtube vids.

There's also a couple of reports saying Milan are after Dossena for £8m :D

Tosic is 21 according to the MU site, he is also a left winger.
Apparently he is best from set pieces.

Adem Ljajić is an AM/RW and will be joining Man United in January 2010 back from Partizan.
