Transport Tycoon Deluxe has wasted many of my weekends 
you should be able to play it with a 360 controler but i wouldnt recomend it, you would be better off with KB + mouse
I'll try one out later - think I'm now good enough terms with the Teladi to buy one now, then I can just drop the Cerberus down to dealing with swarms of M3s and below.

I've gone for Homeworld 2 after all. Think I'll get the COH Anthology afterwards.
I already have COH, but you get that plus both expansions for about £3 more than just one seperate expansion alone on a big online site?!?! Can't argue with that

For £30 dont think you will find a better stick and its wireless, i snaped one up as soon as i saw it.

Had a quick blast with it at lunch time and it does seem very good for the money.
Customisable so it means you can move certain parts of it to make it fit your hand better and flippable for those lefties.
I ordered the wireless one yesterday (3 in stock) and now there is one left... better get ordering quick
Like I said in GD too, I ordered after 4pm yesterday and got free next day delivery and it turned up before 1am this morning... that's damn good going from OcUK

tried ordering my new card yesterday only to get it turned down because it might be "fraudulent" rang up hsbc at 12 today to get it sorted after wadding through some of the most incomprehensible Indian accents i get to a guy who confirms he's just "removing the block now", tried to order card + joystick just now "payment refused " ****ing lying *******

Well I tried out the Shrike - currently loaded up with 4x Gauss in the side turrets, Flak top and bottom, PBE at the rear and IPG's at the front, I'll put something with a lot more punch at the front when I get the chance. Nice ship though (had the one with the same model from XTM) and liked it then too. I can see what you mean by the Cerberus being a bit weak, this has more fighters, more shielding, isn't much slower, has a smaller profile and has a huge cargo bay in comparison.
Captured a Carrack earlier with 5 Marines earlier
My first proper cap really, until now it had only been the Vidar from the Terran mission and a Hyperion flying around by itself. I was flying the Hyperion fully loaded with shields and guns taking a pummeling from the Carrack and its escorts but eventually managed to take out the escort (was 10+ M3s, a Heavy Dragon and a few misc M5's for target practise)Led the Carrack well away from everything else in the sector (both mine and its shields were full again) and did a few passes to take down its shields whilst getting mine knocked down to about a 1/3 and managed to then avoid fire long enough to get my marines in and do a runner whilst they capped it
- only lost 2 marines (they were 2* trained - I've got a few that are 4-5* currently training up)Was epic!

Hey man, if I'm buying X3:TC and a decent joystick late I'm not gonna be the only one
The joystick does seem pretty good though, will give it a proper go tonight with Freelancer me thinks.
Looking forward to X3 arriving.
I duno how ppl can play with joysticks, they just dont beat a mouse and keyboard setup imo the mouse will be much more accurate and faster than a stick so not sure why u would use one also theres only so many buttons on a joystick which isnt good for sim games i would have thought.
you can do more things at once with a joystick ie poull back + tilt + rotate all at the same time so you can pull moves you can't with only a mouse/kb.

Is it like 15 years old now? i remember it from my childhood and windows 95
